01Rollover
Most months, you won’t send 50,000.
That is the month most invoices keep. Credits are added on every renewal, and the ones you do not send stay in your balance. The slow months pay for the busy ones.
02Volume
At your volume.
The retainer, then $0.50 a thousand past the 50,000 included. This is the whole bill for a month, and it is the same arithmetic at every size.

03Included
What the $20 buys.
The same product for every account. The fee is the vetting, and the vetting is the product.
Card on file, a domain you own, and a first send that only happens after both check out.
One verified sending domain per account. Live mail comes from a domain you own and verify.
Resend and SendGrid compatible requests, and a dashboard that shows every message as a receipt: accepted, screened, delivered.
Content checks at the door, bounce and complaint enforcement after. A bad list gets paused before the inbox notices.
04Questions
Questions developers actually ask.
Can I try Transmit for free?
Yes. Sign up and test in the free sandbox without a card or sending domain. Email delivery is simulated, webhook requests are real, and sandbox sends use no credits. Live sending requires a paid subscription, a verified domain, and an approved sender.
What does the $20 cover?
A vetted account, one verified sending domain that is entirely yours, the API, the dashboard with a receipt for every message, screening on every send, and bounce and complaint enforcement. There are no feature gates and no tiers.
How do credits work?
One credit is one email. Your subscription adds 50,000 every month and they roll over. What you don't send banks in your balance, so an unsent month is not a lost one. Beyond that, credits cost $0.50 per thousand with a $10 minimum. Credits never expire while you’re subscribed and your account is in good standing.
When do the first credits arrive?
Your first 50,000 credits land once your domain verifies and you approve a sender on it, not before. That's enough to wire up the API and watch real receipts come in.
Can I move from Resend or SendGrid without a rewrite?
Yes. Transmit speaks both request shapes. Change the base URL and the key, and the docs have the exact diff for each SDK.
What gets screened?
Every accepted message is checked before a provider sees it. Anything held shows up in your dashboard with the reason, so nothing disappears silently. Bounce and complaint rates are enforced on every account, ours included.
What if I send millions a month?
The price is the price. If your volume is large enough that it matters, write to support@transmit.dev and a person will answer.
What does support look like?
Email support@transmit.dev. Everyone gets the same support, because there's only one plan.
Email that arrives.
No card for sandbox. Subscription and sender setup required for live email.
